I’m a born and bred Novocastrian, outdoor lover, and Psychologist.
I became a Psychologist in 2015 after completing my Bachelor of Psychology with Honours at the University of Newcastle. Before that, I worked as a suicide and crisis support counsellor, which shaped how I think about safety, care, and showing up for people in moments that feel overwhelming.
Since then, I’ve worked across both public and private settings and bring experience and perspective from previous roles including working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner and TAFE Counsellor. I’m currently registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and AHPRA, and I’m a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

I care deeply about my own self-development and believe that ongoing learning and reflection are essential in this work. I regularly engage in professional development and attend peer and professional supervision to continue refining my practice, with practitioners from both Australia as well as internationally.
I believe psychotherapy and inner work are not just an essential part of the job, but an important responsibility for anyone practising in this field.

I’m trained in a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
My work is most often grounded in an Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) framework. This emotion-focussed approach is built on helping people connect with and work through unresolved emotional experiences, often leading to greater emotional freedom, vitality, and overall wellbeing.
Alongside therapy, I take a holistic approach and may incorporate skills tailored to what feels most helpful for you. This can include mindfulness, relaxation strategies, psychoeducation, emotional regulation, communication skills, self-compassion, and resilience building.
