How much do your services cost?

My current private practice fees for in-person and telehealth are $255 per individual session.

The Medicare rebate with a Mental Health Care Plan is currently approximately $99 per session, making the out-of-pocket cost approximately $156 per session.

Other accepted rebates include:

  • Eating Disorder Treatment Management Plan
  • Chronic Condition Management Plans
  • Non-Directive Pregnancy Support Counselling

Fees for services provided through NDIS or WorkCover will be funded by the insurer as per approved or gazetted rates.

Please note we are not a bulk-billing practice.

You can refer yourself privately (without a GP referral) by filling in the contact form HERE.

If you wish to use a Medicare rebate, you will need to see your GP first. To be eligible, book a double-length appointment with your GP to obtain a referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan. If deemed eligible, you may be entitled to Medicare rebates for up to 10 psychological appointments per calendar year.

Your GP can send the referral and MHTP directly to me via fax, then you can contact me to secure an appointment.

No, you don’t need one. Having a referral simply allows you to access sessions at a reduced rate through Medicare or another scheme via rebates — rebates are money back in your pocket.

Private (no referral) services attract a standard rate of $255 per session.

As all health insurance policies vary, you will need to contact your health insurer directly to discuss whether you are eligible for a rebate.

A receipt for all psychology services will be emailed to you so you can then claim private health rebates.

Treatment length varies depending on the individual’s needs, the nature of the issue, and the pace at which treatment can progress.

Therapy is not only an investment in mental health, but in your overall wellbeing.

Failure to Attend & Cancellation Fee Policy: If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours before your appointment to allow time to plan ahead and offer the slot elsewhere.

Because both your time and mine are valuable, we ask that clients make every reasonable effort to attend. Extenuating circumstances will be considered carefully.
