An NDIS-trained Psychologist can help individuals with a disability and neurodivergent individuals be heard, heal, understand and self-advocate.
Neurodivergence, including differences such as autism (ASD), ADHD, Intellectual Disability and learning disabilities can lead to differences in learning, attention and social culture.
I have over a decade of experience working in the disability sector, and I have specific training working to support neurodivergent children and adults as well as individuals living with a genetic or physical disability.
Individuals who identify as neurodivergent or living with a disability may also have a co-occurring psychosocial disability such as depression or anxiety. Studies suggest that people living with ADHD and/or autistic adults are much more likely to experience mental health challenges. That’s where NDIS Psychology support can be helpful.
Supporting autistic children and adults with social communication, emotional regulation, and day-to-day wellbeing.
Practical and therapeutic support for attention, executive functioning, emotional dysregulation, and self-understanding.
Tailored psychological support for individuals living with intellectual disability across the lifespan.
Support for individuals whose learning differences affect their confidence, performance, and emotional wellbeing.
Support for individuals who also experience mental health symptoms such as complex trauma, anxiety, depression, or other psychosocial challenges.
Psychological support for individuals living with genetic or physical disability, and those navigating complex care needs.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and shaped by over a decade of experience across disability, mental health, and community settings.
Psych Jen in collaboration with Mindpy are offering Neurofeedback for clients, but we are in the process of upgrading the machine.
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, evidence-informed approach that helps the brain regulate itself more effectively. It has shown promise in supporting individuals with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and other neurological challenges.
We'll update this page as soon as Neurofeedback sessions are available. Get in touch to register your interest.
